A Deal for Every Day of the Week

The Lift has built a reputation in Boise for daily specials that are actually worth planning around. They are not tiny discounts buried in fine print: $1.50 tacos, $1.50 wings with no limit, $4 off pitchers and $13 fish and chips. Below is what each day brings, when it runs and how to get the most out of it. Specials are served at 4091 W State St and, in most cases, can be ordered to go as well.

Munchie Monday

Start the week easy with a $5 appetizer basket. The item changes, so ask your server what the kitchen is sending out that day. Order any burger from the main menu and you can add a Montucky Cold Snack for just $2. It is the cheapest way to turn a Monday dinner into a proper night out.

Taco Tuesday

Tuesday is a favorite weeknight at The Lift for a reason: tacos are $1.50 and Tecates are $1.50. Order a few, share a round, and stay for the evening. Read more on our Taco Tuesday page.

Wing Wednesday

On Wednesdays our wings are $1.50 each with no limit. Pick bone-in or boneless and choose Buffalo, BBQ, sweet and spicy, teriyaki or Parmesan garlic dry rub. Thirsty Thursday

Every beer pitcher is $4 off on Thursday. It lines up perfectly with Game Night Live Trivia at 7pm, which is free to play. Grab a pitcher for the table, build a team and see the rest of the lineup on our events page.

Fish Friday

Friday means fish and chips for $13: battered fish and a pile of fries. It goes great with a cup or bowl of the chowder we make in house. It is a long-running Lift tradition that regulars will not miss.

Saturday and Sunday Brunch

Weekends start with brunch from 10am to 1pm and $4 mimosas and Bloody Marys. Chicken fried steak, skillets, bennys and pancakes are all on the menu. Learn more on the Marys and Mimosas page.

Happy Hour: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm

Our weekday happy hour gives you $2 off drafts, $1 off wells and $1 off wine. It is the right time to try something from our beer and wine list or one of our signature cocktails. Happy hour stacks nicely with the daily food special, so a Tuesday at 5pm is about as good a value as you will find in Boise.

Seasonal Specials

Some deals come and go with the calendar. During football season we run game-day food and drink specials. In spring and summer look for seasonal drinks and patio specials, and in the colder months a comfort-food night like our all-you-can-eat spaghetti may return. We also host occasional beer and liquor tastings.

How to Stack the Deals

The best value at The Lift comes from lining up a food special with happy hour. Happy hour runs from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays, so an early dinner on Tuesday gets you $1.50 tacos plus $2 off drafts, and a Wednesday stop before Music Bingo gets you $1.50 wings plus $1 off wells and wine. Thursday is the group night: split a discounted pitcher while you play free trivia at 7pm. On Friday, pair the $13 fish and chips with a draft at happy hour prices and you have a full meal for well under twenty dollars.

Specials for Groups and Parties

Daily specials work well for groups because they are easy to share. A dozen Wing Wednesday wings in two or three flavors, a round of Taco Tuesday tacos, or a few $5 Munchie Monday baskets can feed a table without anyone doing math at the end of the night. If you are bringing eight or more people, call (208) 342-3250 ahead so we can plan seating, and keep in mind that a 20% gratuity may be added for larger groups. In warm weather, ask for a spot on the patio.

Not Here on a Special Day?

The regular main menu is always available, with burgers from $13, sandwiches, salads and shareables, and our homemade soup of the day. On weekends, brunch is its own reason to visit.
